Mcroscopes America Return Policy
Effective Date: This Return Policy was last revised on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Camera systems are non-returnable. They are custom and are manufactured per order. Therefore, they are non-returnable. You may return any other item purchased through a Microscopes America, Inc., website (non-camera) within 7 (seven) days of purchase for a refund in accordance with this return policy (“Return Policy”). This Return Policy is subject to the Terms of Use for the Microscopes America website on which you made your purchase. Microscopes America will not accept any returns of camera items purchased through our website.
If you want to return any other item (any consumables, any microscopes, any laboratory tabletop equipment (warmers, hot plates, paraffin dispensers, centrifuges, tissue baths, etc.,) and any balance, or any electronic scale item you must:
- Contact Microscopes America customer service at accounts@microscopesamerica.com or by calling Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm Eastern time at 1 (800) 790-8115 in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (“RMA Number”). No RMA’s are produced for camera systems since they are special order/custom and clearly stated as non-returnable.
- Within 5 days of the date of purchase, with the RMA written on the outside of the box, return via FedEx or UPS (signature service required) to Microscopes America in its new, unused condition in the original packaging including any accessories, manuals, and documentation, to the following address:
- Include in the return shipment the RA Number and the original packing slip.
As always, any camera items may not be returned.
Microscopes America is not responsible for the cost of outbound or return shipping charges for any return or for any damage to the item on return shipment to Microscopes America. All actual shipping costs incurred by Microscopes America upon initial purchase shall be deducted from any return reimbursement. In addition to this, any item returned is subject to a 25% re-stocking fee from Microscopes America.
Upon receipt of a returned item that complies with this Return Policy, Microscopes America will refund your payment and all shipping costs to the original account billed for the item.
This Return Policy is subject to change without notice. The version of this Return Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your purchase. Microscopes America recommends you print or otherwise retain a copy of this Return Policy at the time of your purchase.
If you receive any defective microscope, any defective slide warmer, paraffin dispenser, tissue bath, centrifuge, or consumable item we will notify the manufactuerer for their RMA number. You will not incure charges for defective items. They will be replaced per the manufacturer.
